Whistler, B.C. – Whistler’s premier culinary event, Cornucopia, returns this Thursday, November 6, for eleven unforgettable days celebrating the best in food and drink. Beloved by locals and visitors alike, Cornucopia has become a staple of Whistler’s annual event calendar — a delicious prelude to the winter ski and snowboard season.
Now in its 29th year, Cornucopia has evolved from a small, wine-focused weekend into a dynamic, 11-day festival featuring more than 100 experiences including tastings, culinary demonstrations, drink seminars, winemaker dinners, comedy shows, and even a silent disco.
A Celebration of Evolution and Expertise
Originally created to highlight B.C. wineries and Whistler’s world-class dining scene, Cornucopia has expanded to celebrate the full spectrum of culinary and beverage artistry.
The festival’s Drink Seminar Series provides an intimate opportunity for guests to taste and learn about wine, spirits, cocktails, and craft beer, while the Culinary Stage Series brings the heat with live cooking shows where chefs and culinary professionals prepare dishes on stage as guests enjoy multi-course tastings.
“Cornucopia has evolved immensely over the years,” says Justina Armstrong, Event Director at Whistler Cornucopia. “While wine remains at the heart of the festival, we’ve grown to include an incredible range of culinary programming and beverage experiences that truly showcase Whistler’s creative and diverse food and drink community.”
Signature Events
It’s not too late to join the celebration — tickets remain available for several of Cornucopia’s most anticipated events:
