Whistler Cornucopia begins this Thursday, November 9

Whistler, B.C. – In less than two weeks, Whistler Cornucopia returns to the mountains with an unrivaled schedule curated to bring taste buds to the edge of anticipation. As Whistler’s flagship fall festival celebrating all things food and drink, Cornucopia pushes culinary boundaries with more than 70 events on offer between November 9 to 19, 2023.
“The Cornucopia schedule can be broken down into four categories: Signature Events, Food & Drink Seminars, the Culinary Stage Series, and Restaurant and Bar Events,” says Justina Armstrong, Director of Operations at Whistler Cornucopia. “Our Signature Events anchor the Cornucopia schedule and feature the extraordinary flavors and pairings Cornucopia is known for. Signature Events at this year’s Cornucopia offer a diverse variety of experiences guaranteed to please any palate. Signature tasting events such as Cellar Door (November 10), Poured (November 18), and Cornucopia’s flagship event, CRUSH Grand Tasting (November 11), offers festival-goers the chance to sample fine wines, champagnes, craft beers, and spirits, often paired with small bites from local Whistler restaurants.
This year’s schedule also sees the return of many beloved classic Cornucopia Signature Events, including Night Market: Taste of the World (November 17), the Bearfoot Bistro World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle (November 19), and House Party: Best of BC (November 9), Cornucopia’s kick-off event featuring sample tastings from BC wineries, distilleries and craft breweries, as well as an exceptional dinner buffet.
For those who enjoy a side of humor with their cocktail, the Comedy Kitchen (November 16) and Laugh Out Live (November 13) Signature Events pair comedic talent with great company and delicious drinks.
And finally, those food and beverage aficionados looking to try something a little different may be interested in the Taste of Indigenous Worlds (November 12), Murder Mystery at the Bearfoot Bistro (November 12), the With a Twist: Silent Disco (November 12), or Drag Me to Brunch (November 12), one of Cornucopia’s newest events featuring Canada’s Drag Race contender Gia Metric alongside Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar winner Genesis and Bibi SouPhresh and paired with an unlimited brunch buffet.
