Whistler, B.C. – The month-long celebration of food and drink ends this Sunday, November 27. Cornucopia, Whistler’s beloved fall festival of food and drink, culminates – conveniently – on opening weekend for Whistler Blackcomb, allowing skiers and snowboarders to après differently for one weekend only.

“Programming on opening weekend is new territory for us. Considering the pent-up demand to attend events, we decided to extend Cornucopia into the last weekend of November so attendees can maximize on their Whistler visit by skiing or riding during the day, and après with us into the evening.” – Justina Armstrong, Director of Operations, Cornucopia

The final three drink seminars of the festival offer a mix of new and noteworthy varietals: Tour de France invites attendees on a whirlwind tour of the great wine regions of France, and Wine Journey with a Master features special bottles of wine presented by one of Canada’s top restauranteurs, André Saint-Jacques. On Sunday, That’s a Wrap shares the highlights of this year’s festival, with sommelier Samantha Rahn pouring a stellar line up of some of the top drops of the year; expect a mixture of classics and fun discoveries.

For those seeking a food-forward and full-sensory event, the festival’s final Signature Event: SLCC Cornucopia Fall Feast will lead diners on a culinary journey brought to life through authentic Indigenous cultural sharing from the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation. Expect a menu blending tradition with fresh perspective, and optional wine pairings that will have your taste buds run wild.

As we wrap up Cornucopia’s month-long food and drink bash, we will welcome the start of the winter season with the Longhorn Opening Weekend Celebration. Live DJs, bubbles, cocktails, oysters + hors d’oeuvres will keep this Saturday evening fête going into the wee hours. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation for mental health.

Cornucopia Lodging still offers the best value for your Whistler getaway - book 3+ nights and receive a Free $100* CAD Dining Voucher. See you in the mountains!
