Whistler launches Whistler Village Craft Beer Month for October

   Whistler Village Craft Beer Month

Whistler, B.C. – Gibbons Whistler, in partnership with Tourism Whistler, the Resort Municipality of Whistler, and BC Craft Beer Month, is thrilled to announce 31 days of craft-beer programming for Whistler Village Craft Beer Month this October. Over 20 different craft breweries, along with 30 plus community partners, have programmed over 50 different beer-related experiences for craft beer lovers to enjoy.

“We are thrilled to be working closely with Tourism Whistler, Resort Municipality of Whistler and our friends in the Whistler business community to celebrate craft beer month,” says Joey Gibbons, CEO of Gibbons Whistler. “We were sad to not be able to host our 8th annual Whistler Village Beer Festival Main Event in September, but we are really excited to celebrate craft beer for an entire month and we hope you join us!”

Experiences range from flying through the trees with Ziptrek Ecotours Zip n’ Sip, getting pampered in a beer-infused body wrap with a Sip & Stay retreat at Vida Spa Fairmont Whistler, enjoying craft beer pairing dinners, brunches, beer cocktails, and more! “Health and safety has been our highest priority as we’ve worked with our resort partners to curate these craft beer experiences in October, and provincial health orders have been strictly adhered to in our planning,” says Karen Goodwin, vice president of destination and market development at Tourism Whistler. “Fall is a wonderful time to visit Whistler, as the resort is typically quieter and moving at a slower pace. Whistler Village Craft Beer Month provides a unique way to experience everything Whistler has to offer during the autumn season.”
