Whistler, B.C. – A mountain of frights and delights return to Whistler this Halloween. From family-friendly activities to film screenings, late-night parties and performances, there’s plenty of frightfully fun adventures to uncover in Whistler.

Dress the part and show Whistler a frightening Halloween scare from October 25 to 27, as kids can go trick-or-treating when they pick up a free tote from one of three locations in Whistler Village, and visit participating businesses throughout Whistler, for ghoulish goodies and spooky sweets. New for this year, face painting will be available at the Maury Young Arts Centre as well as exciting roving characters can be spotted throughout the Village Stroll on October 26.

The Masquerade: Zero Ceiling’s Fall Fundraiser – October 25
Sample the finest food from the best local chefs, and dance the night away to live music all in costume at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre. There will also be a silent auction and raffle with all funds raised including the ticket price going towards local non-profit Zero Ceiling and its programs throughout the Sea to Sky.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience – October 26
See The Rocky Horror Picture Show this Halloween the way it was meant to be seen – on the big screen, in the dark, with live actors, and a wild Whistler audience. Costumes, props, and audience participation are wildly encouraged at this one-of-a-kind experience at Maury Young Arts Centre.

Pumpkin Palooza – October 28
With everything provided from pumpkins to carving knives, Brickworks Public House puts creativity to the test in the ultimate pumpkin carving challenge.

Heavy Hitting Horrorfest: Apocalypse – October 30
This annual festival rises from the grave each year to treat audiences to a creepy, horrific and hilarious collection of short films filled with buckets of blood and gore from independent filmmakers. Not suited for families, this year’s festival will light up the big screen in Function Junction at The Hangar.

Halloween Night in Whistler Village – October 31
On Halloween night Whistler Village will come alive starting with an after-dark costume group bike ride with WORCA through Lost Lake Park. Later in the evening, a variety of Halloween-themed club parties and evening events can also be found throughout the Village.
