Whistler, B.C. – The Whistler Village Beer Festival returns September 9 – 15, 2019 featuring an extended seven-day schedule filled with beer-fuelled fun events. From cask nights and beer battles to brewing seminars, dinner pairings and multiple parties, the festival features a wide array events to raise a glass and celebrate all things beer.

The Whistler Village Beer Festival Main Event will see over 140 beers and ciders ready to sample in Whistler Olympic Plaza on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15. Perfectly paired with live music and food trucks, this event has easily become a festival favourite not to be missed. Along with the main event, additional festival highlights include:

Axes & Ales – September 9
Pair axe throwing with craft beer tastings while discovering Whistler’s Function Junction neighbourhood. Starting the day at Forged Axe Throwing, Axes & Ales will lead participants through a tasting at Coast Mountain Brewing followed by live music and a BBQ at Whistler Brewing Co.

Craft Cultures: Sea, Land, Sky – September 10
Returning this year, Craft Cultures: Sea, Land, Sky will treat attendees to mouth-watering bites paired with brews and live music at the stunning Audain Art Museum. Celebrate the themes of sea, land, and sky while exploring art and taste at this must-do event.

Sip & Stretch – September 11
Sip on brews while stretching out during this hour-long beer yoga session taught by a Lululemon ambassador. Event registration is by donation with all proceeds benefiting the BC Children’s Hospital.

Master Crafters: Haze Craze – September 13
Experience a blind taste test, where all fancy branding is stripped from competing brews. Tasked with sampling each competitor, attendees will get the chance to vote for their favourite hazy brew in this ultimate beer battle.
