Whistler, B.C. – The Rogers™ Hometown Hockey™ tour makes its way to Whistler February 9 and 10 welcoming families and friends to gather together to celebrate hockey in the mountains.

Throughout the weekend, hockey fans will have the opportunity to attend multiple free hockey-inspired activities at Whistler Olympic Plaza. From a hockey circus show and live music, to National Hockey League alumni appearances and a LIVE Sportsnet broadcast with hosts Ron McLean and Tara Slone, Rogers™ Hometown Hockey™ will unite guests and community members together in honouring the tradition of hockey in Canada.

The Hockey Circus Show – Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10
Entertaining for the whole family, guests can watch everything from juggling to flaming hockey sticks in this hockey-inspired acrobatic show.

Parade of Champions – Sunday, February 10
Guests can gather around Whistler Olympic Plaza to watch community teams and groups march throughout the festival donning their jerseys and showcasing their love for hockey. The march will end at the Sportsnet Mobile Studio in time for the LIVE Sportsnet broadcast.

LIVE Sportsnet Broadcast – Sunday, February 10
Hosts Ron McLean and Tara Slone will be at Whistler Olympic Plaza for a live broadcast sharing stories that celebrate hockey history and culture in Whistler. Afterwards, guests will get the chance to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the New York Rangers on a big screen in Olympic Plaza.
