    Bearfoot Bistro’s World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle

Whistler, B.C. – Cornucopia presented by BlueShore Financial, is heading into the final four days of the festival through to November 18 with some tickets still available for a variety of seminars, tastings and events.

Tonight’s Signature Event: The Picnic gets the party started tonight with local beer, wine and spirits alongside tasty bites at the Whistler Conference Centre. For those looking to quench hunger pains – there are still tickets left for restaurant events such as the Hester Creek Winery Turns 50 event at Caramba Restaurant. The featured menu is perfectly fit for a 50th celebration with ingredients such as lobster, foie gras, Dungeness crab, Alberta lamb, and Pemberton squash; all paired with Hester Creek’s finest wines.

The weekend kicks off with Friday night dinner options ranging from fun and casual to luxe and exclusive. Grab some lederhosen and yodel over to Hunter Gather Eatery & Taphouse’s ‘Novemberfest’ inspired beer & bratwurst event – the Cask N’ Brat. Coast Mountain Brewing will be there pouring a traditional Festive Cask Ale paired with Hunter Gather’s smoked bratwurst, braised cabbage and house-made spaetzli.

Feeling fancy? There are two options still available for those looking to put on the ritz. Experience An Evening with CUT by Wolfgang Puck as Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Resort, combines tastes with the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler for a contemporary twist on the classic steakhouse that will feature Napa Valley’s Black Stallion wines paired with exquisite cuts of beef and seafood. The Bearfoot Bistro is also bringing some California talent in to cap off the festival with an exclusive winery dinner. Taking place in the Bearfoot’s legendary 20,000 bottle wine-cellar; Taylor Smith from Eisele Vineyard in Napa Valley will pour an all-star lineup of wines paired with the inspired cuisine of Bearfoot Bistro’s executive chef Melissa Craig.

Saturday’s schedule is jam-packed with entertaining and educational drink seminars such as The Bees Knees of CocktailsModern South AfricaThe Three Martini Lunch, and the Gold Rush: Award-winning BC Beers. That evening, start out at Signature Event: Poured Grand Tasting then dance the night away at the inaugural Abstract Future: From Now to Eternity at the Audain Art Museum.

Finally, say farewell to 2018’s festival on Sunday with a smattering of seminars– Rosé Pajama Party: Get Your Chill OnCraft Beer for Wine Lovers or a Pizza and Pinot Party. For the grand finale and Cornucopia’s final signature event of the weekend – head into the Bearfoot Bistro’s World Oyster Invitational & Bloody Caesar Battle and cheer for your favourite – because who in Whistler isn’t a little competitive?
