Whistler, B.C. – Whistler is only a couple days away from hosting the 23rd annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival, celebrating diversity and welcoming the world.

This year’s rebranded event, under the new name of Whistler Pride and Ski Festival, is one of the biggest gay and lesbian ski weeks in North America featuring eight days of skiing, snowboarding, parties, comedy nights and social events. Between January 24-31, Whistler Pride and Ski Festival guests enjoy 60 energy-filled events – not to mention plenty of skiing and snowboarding on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

Some of the highlights of this year’s festival include the Bollywood Party at Moe Joe’s on January 26, the Cowboy Party at Buffalo Bill’s on January 27, comedy night with award-winning entertainer Margaret Cho at the Whistler Conference Centre January 28 and Snowball 23 on January 31. Whistler's fifth annual Pride March through Skier’s Plaza will take place on Friday, January 30 at 3 p.m.
