Whistler, B.C. – With events taking place every evening throughout the festival, Cornucopia, presented by BlueShore Financial gives you plenty of reasons to head out into the crisp, fall nights.

An exciting new addition to this year's festival is Cellar Door – this tasting event takes place in the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Centre on Friday, November 7 and features wines for that special occasion. With over 25 wineries showcasing more than a hundred wines that retail for $35 and up, Cellar Door is shaping up to be this year’s hot ticket event.  Also new for 2014 -- Cornucopia's flagship event, the Crush Gala Grand Tasting is one night only, taking place Saturday, November 8.

Cornucopia has also moved beyond the vines, with expanded offerings including craft beer, cocktail and spirits tastings. With a Twist is a new choose-your-own-cocktail-adventure taking place on Sunday, November 9. Attendees can sip their spirit of choice -- neat, on the rocks or create their own cocktail, get tips from the staff mixologists as well as taste a few of the professionals' creations.

Cornucopia Night Market returns with a focus on street cuisine from around the world. From Indian to Thai to Mexican, Brazilian and back to North America – Cornucopia Night Market: Taste the World is a gastronomic experience for the fun and adventurous.

Those looking for festivities late into the night need not look far: bon vivant Andre St. Jacques is introducing the Bearfoot Bistro’s Late Night Wine Mixer taking place most nights during the festival. The Bearfoot Bistro also hosts othe Belvedere Black Box Cocktail Party on Sunday, November 9. Big House Wines has partnered with the Longhorn Saloon for the late night Cops & Robbers party. Twisted is the after-party to With a Twist featuring Deep Cove Vodka at Buffalo Bills. Wine About Art ?at White Dog Studio gets those creative juices going, inviting guests to sip some of Canada’s fine wines while painting their own masterpiece. The Firerock Lounge at the Westin Resort & Spa steps up to the bar with An Evening of Scotch & Cigars and the Cocktails & Dreams DJ set.

Monster Energy returns with the second annual Revolutions party at the Bearfoot Bistro. After Poured is Garfinkels Roaring 20’s themed after-party.

And, of course, Cornucopia trademark events return to the schedule including the House Party: Best of B.C., Top 25 Celebratory Reception, Poured, and the Indulge Gala

With 11 days and a seemingly endless lineup of events, Cornucopia offers something for everyone. For detailed schedule information visit www.whistlercornucopia.com.
