Whistler, B.C. – The calendar might indicate the seasons are changing, but in Whistler, September doesn’t necessarily mean an end to summer.

This weekend the temperature is forecast to reach up to 32 degrees Celsius – offering the perfect canvas for the inaugural Whistler Village Beer Festival in Whistler Olympic Plaza.

And as the clock ticks closer to autumn, late September and October prove to be tremendous times to visit Whistler; the golf courses remain open until mid-October (weather permitting), offering incredible value with end of season rates and mountain biking, cycling, hiking and sightseeing are all in full swing.

On Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the PEAK 2 PEAK Alpine Experience operates until September 22 and on weekends until October 14, providing a 360-degree view of the alpine with more than 50 kilometres of hiking trails ranging in difficulty from beginner to expert.  From the village and surrounding neighbourhoods, Whistler offers a number of extraordinary hiking routes that take guests on a journey off the beaten path and deep into the core of our natural surroundings. And the paved Valley Trail network offers a scenic connector route, whether on foot or bicycle.
