Whistler, B.C. – Six sensational winter-themed prize packages are up for
grabs in Tourism Whistler’s signature contest, launched this week to
coincide with the #WhistlerUnfiltered
winter marketing campaign.

#WhistlerUnfiltered
is an online anthology of Instagram images of Whistler where people have
been asked to use the #WhistlerUnfiltered
hashtag on their Instagram images, which could then be featured on the
#WhistlerUnfiltered microsite and in additional marketing materials.
The collection of unofficial, uncensored, candid snapshots with the themes
of: Anticipation, Rooftop of the World, Dropping In, Snow Play and Boots
Off are featured on the #WhistlerUnfiltered
website with some photos included in the opening and closing signature
campaign videos as well as five shorter videos, launched monthly throughout
the campaign in October, November, December, January and February. Each
week, new images from the collection will be sourced and featured on the
campaign microsite: www.whistler.com/unfiltered
with a top-three selection most prominent on the page.
In support of the campaign, Tourism Whistler has launched the ultimate signature
winter contest with prize packages also on the themes of Anticipation,
Rooftop of the World, Dropping In, Snow Play and Boots Off. A grand prize
package is also available.
Anticipation
Prize:
This prize is for one lucky winner and includes a $500 whistler.com
certificate to start planning your next Whistler adventure. And to get you
even more thrilled to ride in Whistler, K2 will throw in a brand new K2 Ski
or K2
Snowboard set up including a new skis/board, boots, bindings, poles and
travel bag. This prize is valued at $1,500 CAD and will be drawn on
November 16, 2012.
Rooftop Of The
World Prize:
You and a friend will explore the Coast Mountains—one of the most glaciated
regions in the world with a 12 minute Helicopter Sightseeing Tour courtesy
of Blackcomb
Aviation. Afterwards travel through the old growth forests and frozen
lakes while taking in the majestic views while on a Backcountry BC
Snowmobile Tour including lunch courtesy of The
Adventure Group. Prize includes four nights’ of rest and relaxation,
ground transportation from Vancouver, and lift tickets for Whistler
Blackcomb including access to the P2P Gondola. Prize is valued at $2,080

Prize:
