Whistler, B.C. – Contrary to the calendar suggesting summer is nearing its end; Whistler’s summer enjoys longevity with endless entertainment and events sure to spell fun for everyone.

Guests are invited to celebrate the Resort Municipality of Whistler’s (RMOW) 40th birthday on September 6, with roving street entertainment and a free outdoor concert from Canadian folk-rock band Spirit of the West.

The birthday celebration is just the beginning; September in Whistler is abuzz with excitement, boasting a plethora of outdoor activities and entertainment. Dance beneath Whistler’s starry skies at the Whistler Presents Outdoor Concert Series. Channel your inner-child and jump in the mud at Mudderella Whistler, little sister of Tough Mudder featuring a muddy 8-11 kilometre obstacle course, designed by women for women. Watch the best of the best rally in Whistler for the multi-day Whistler Longboard Festival – picture boardercross meets the Grand Prix of skateboarding. All that plus much more, September’s is a hub for summertime entertainment.

As the clock clicks closer to fall, September proves to be a tremendous time to visit Whistler; the golf courses remain open until mid-October (weather permitting), offering incredible value with end of season rates and mountain biking, cycling, hiking and sightseeing are all in full swing.
