Cornucopia Whistler set to return this November with a modified schedule & enhanced safety protocols in place

   Cornucopia - 2020

Whistler, B.C. – Tourism Whistler, in partnership with Watermark Communications, is thrilled to announce the return of Cornucopia this November. The resort’s annual celebration of food and drink will feature a reimagined format this year in compliance with new COVID-19 safety protocols. Taking place over four “extended” weekends this November, Cornucopia Whistler will include small, intimate ticketed experiences, such as drink seminars, winery and paired dinners.

Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 29th.

“Health and safety has been our highest priority as we’ve worked to bring back this adapted version of Cornucopia,” says Sue Eckersley, executive director Watermark Communications. “With provincial health orders strictly adhered to, we have been able to design a boutique collection of curated food and drink experiences sure to satisfy even the most sophisticated of palates. We have been working closely with Vancouver Coastal Health, who have helped direct us in our planning, and we are very excited to be able to bring this modified version of Cornucopia to the resort this fall.”

Now in its 24th year, Cornucopia will launch with an Opening Paired Dinner on Friday, November 6 followed by a selection of drink seminars and dinners through to Sunday, November 8. Subsequent weekends, the schedule expands to incorporate Thursdays for those looking to take an extended weekend getaway, culminating on Sunday, November 29. Special food and drink experiences will also be on offer from a variety of Whistler restaurants and bars.

Celebration has long been the overall theme in Whistler and throughout Cornucopia from ‘celebration of food and drink’ to  ‘celebration of the senses’. November 2020 sees Cornucopia returning to its grassroots origin – celebrating the community in which it takes place.

Stay 2 Nights + Friday evening paired dinner package starts at $128 per person, per night.
