Whistler, B.C. – Whistler welcomes GO Fest for its fifth annual celebration of experiencing and enjoying everything the great outdoors has to offer in Whistler.

Returning May 18 – 20, 2018, and marking the unofficial start to summer in Whistler, the four-day festival features everything from sport activities and clinics to art and cultural events and live music from notable bands.

Live music will take over Whistler’s energetic and central Village Square Mainstage every night with performances by The Philosopher Kings, Current Swell, and The Funk Hunters. Join in on the first annual Musical Instrument Swap and Jam Session taking stage at The Point. Bring the dog out for some fun in the sun and learn training tips and tricks with Alpine Dogs at Florence Peterson Park on May 20. A must see for all auto enthusiasts, the All British Car Show will be rolling into Creekside with up to 100 British cars on display.

Set sail and learn the ropes on Alta Lake at the GO Sailing Clinic with instruction from the Whistler Sailing Association on Saturday and Sunday. Test your newly learned sailing skills and join in on the GO Sailing Race on May 20 at Alta Lake. Paddle down the scenic River of Golden Dreams connecting Green Lake with Alta Lake on a self-guided canoe tour on Saturday and Sunday.

Get the family on an adventure with the GO Green Nature Scavenger Hunt; uncover hidden treasures while learning about the importance of biodiversity, forests, and wildlife that call Whistler home. Challenge yourself to a game of ping pong at the GO Fest Base Camp, free play runs all day on Saturday. Grab a skateboard and test your skills at the Showcase and Vans mini skate ramp in Whistler Olympic Plaza all weekend.
