Whistler, B.C. – Regional guests to Whistler will soon find themselves rewarded for their loyalty to the resort.

Tourism Whistler, operating the whistler.com website and central reservations system for the resort of Whistler, announced this week the launch of the Whistler Rewards From Whistler.com program, recognizing guests from B.C. and Washington State who book their Whistler vacations through the call centre, either online or by phone.

Beginning January 13, 2015, B.C. and Washington State guests who book their Whistler vacation through whistler.com will receive a $50 Whistler.com credit for every fifth night booked. B.C. and Washington State customers will enjoy priority access to Whistler-based travel consultants through a designated toll-free number and exclusive offers on Whistler activities, events, shopping, dining and more.

“We recognize that our regional guests from British Columbia and Washington State are extremely loyal guests to Whistler,” said Louise Walker, Tourism Whistler’s Vice President of Marketing.

“These guests are exceptionally passionate about Whistler – it’s their home away from home. Many are repeat visitors already, and they really have a deep connection to Whistler,” Walker said. “We want to recognize their loyalty and let them know that we appreciate their business. Our regional market has helped to make Whistler the success that it is today. Now, it’s their turn to be rewarded for their loyalty and for helping to make Whistler the number one ski resort.”

Whistler.com’s B.C. and Washington State customers can start earning rewards and taking advantage of the exclusive deals by visiting www.whistler.com/rewards and signing in with their email address.

In addition to its role as an information hub, Whistler.com, the official central reservations for the resort, offers one-stop shopping with the largest selection and no booking fee for accommodation, lift tickets or activities. Travel consultants at Whistler.com are based in Whistler -- the call centre is located in the heart of Whistler Village. Whistler.com is customer-centric; customers can trust that they will receive the best service from a respected and reputable call centre. In 2014, Whistler.com was recognized by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce as a ServeUs Challenge Winner, receiving the top award for service excellence in the activities and services sector.

“At Whistler.com we always put the customer first,” said Walker. “Whistler.com is the official call centre representing Whistler; our customers expect – and can count on – the best service, largest selection and best price guarantees. The level of customer service that we provide, and the fact that we are located right in Whistler, are some of the many things that set us apart from other call centres," she said.

“Our travel consultants are able to deliver a truly genuine and authentic Whistler service experience. When you call or email one of our Whistler.com travel consultants, you’re connecting with someone who is in the Village; someone who is living the Whistler experience. If a guest wants to know exactly what is happening in the resort, what the weather might be like or the vibe in the Village at any given moment, our consultants can provide that information first-hand.”

Whistler.com offers a number of vacation package options while the Whistler-based travel consultants can also customize vacation packages, taking care of flights, transportation, accommodation and activities.
