Whistler, B.C. – With less than one week before Whistler welcomes Cornucopia, presented by BlueShore Financial, some events are selling out, but an expanded schedule means there are still a few opportunities to attend this annual celebration of food + drink.

Now in its 18th year, Cornucopia’s 11 day calendar is teeming with a diverse selection of events fit for the connoisseur’s palate to those eager to learn. From cooking demonstrations to drink seminars, winery dinners to gala tastings and late-night celebrations – this year’s festival will leave patrons counting down the days until next year.

Festival packages are also available offering accommodation and choice of new tasting events such as Cellar Door or Cornucopia’s signature events such as House Party and Crush Gala Grand Tasting with the option to add on a selection of additional event tickets in an easy one-spot-shop. Fill your days with a selection of wine seminars such as Made In Italy or Natural Wine; learn a trick or two around the kitchen with local and visiting chefs at a Culinary Stage Series demonstration or in a more intimate setting, the Chef’s Table Luncheon’s are held in luxurious, private Whistler chalets.

For those who enjoy a little competition – and who in Whistler doesn’t – Cornucopia does not disappoint. Two cocktail competitions are set to take place over each weekend. The first competition being the Belvedere Black Box Cocktail Party at the Bearfoot Bistro on Sunday, November 9. The Firerock Lounge is the setting for the second cocktail event – Cocktail and Dreams on November 13. Amateurs take the stage throughout the week with So You Think You Can Cook and on Saturday, November 15 wine seminar You Be The Judge provides attendees the opportunity to participate in a blind tasting complete with personal scorings with the wines to be revealed at the end.

Last but certainly not least – Infiniti Canada; the official luxury automotive sponsor for Cornucopia has launched a contest to win tickets to Cornucopia Night Market: Taste The World and Poured. Two unforgettable experiences. One contest.

Whatever your plans may be, the countdown is on to get your tickets to Whistler’s premiere fall festival Cornucopia celebration of food + drink.
