AVW-TELAV named audio visual provider for Whistler Conference Centre


Whistler, B.C. – Tourism Whistler is pleased to announce that AVW-TELAV has been renamed the official audio visual supplier for the Whistler Conference Centre.

AVW-TELAV has been the official supplier of audio visual services at the Whistler Conference Centre since 1998, providing state-of-the-art audio visual service and equipment, most recently including the additions of social media platforms and mobile applications for conferences. The new five-year agreement is effective April 1, 2013 and extends the existing partnership.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with AVW-TELAV,” said Karen Goodwin, Tourism Whistler’s Vice President of Market Development.

“AVW-TELAV works in synergy with our in-house catering and conference services team, providing exceptional service to our clients,” Goodwin said. “Year over year, the services at the Whistler Conference Centre – including those provided by AVW-TELAV, exceed our guest expectations.”

Tourism Whistler issued a Request for Proposals for an audio visual supplier in late 2012; several bids were received.
