Whistler, B.C. – Spring in Whistler ushers in a whole new world of possibilities, as the daylight hours extend and the snow melt makes way for a new season of activities, après, spa specials and more. Strong snowfall this winter has ensured spring skiing until May 22 and for those after something that never goes out of season, try après.

Ullr delivered a snow-filled winter in Whistler and has continued to do so into the early days of spring. Thanks to 166 cm of new snowfall so far this month, Whistler Blackcomb has broken the record for the snowiest April in the last 10 years. Blackcomb Mountain will remain open until May 22 offering up sweet spring skiing conditions and a late spring pass for those looking to make the most of one of North America’s longest ski seasons.

Snow melt in the valley welcomes more activities as hiking and biking return to the playing field. Whether it’s a walk around the valley trail or a ride around Lost Lake, there are endless reasons to get out and enjoy the outdoors in Whistler. Looking to reset after a season full of powder days? Try a rejuvenation session and take advantage of spring spa specials at the Spa at Nita Lake Lodge, the Scandinave Spa or the Vida Spa at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

While après in Whistler never goes out of season, it’s always a little sweeter when it’s free.
